One Week in Tenerife is an English-language travel planning site focused on helping visitors make practical decisions about Tenerife.

The site is operated and published by Winning Leads AB, a Swedish company.

What the site covers

The site treats Tenerife as more than a resort holiday.

Our guides focus on the decisions travellers need to make before and during a trip:

how to structure one week;

How we research travel information

Travel details change.

When opening rules, trail access, transport, permits, operating hours or safety conditions materially affect a trip, we prefer current information from official authorities and primary sources.

For Tenerife this includes sources such as:

Aena for airport information;
TITSA for public buses;
Turismo de Tenerife for destination and sustainability information;
attraction operators for their own current admission rules.

We prefer durable planning advice when copying an exact timetable would create a page that becomes stale quickly.

Tours and independent travel

Tenerife has many activities that are naturally bookable: whale watching, stargazing, Teide excursions and boat trips.

We try to separate two questions:

Is the experience useful?
Does it need to be bought as a tour?

Teide can be visited independently by confident drivers. A tour may still be better for a visitor without a car. Masca village can be visited independently, while the controlled gorge hike has separate access requirements.

What the site is not

One Week in Tenerife is not an official tourism authority, government agency, park authority, airport, bus operator, hotel, airline or tour company.

Critical access rules, closures, prices, departure times and booking conditions should always be confirmed with the relevant provider when they matter to your trip.
